TRANSITIONAL HOUSES

Parole candidates, while preparing for parole, typically submit a parole packet to submit to the Board of Parole Hearings before their suitability hearing. While this packet contains several important documents, part of this packet should have an acceptance letter to a transitional house. This shows initiative, planning, and preparation on behalf of the parole candidate. Often, my clients reach out to friends and family to help them research, locate, and contact transitional houses on behalf of their incarcerated loved ones. This list of transitional homes is intended to help those seeking transitional houses. While there are hundreds of transitional houses across California, I have listed a handful of the most popular transitional houses, my prior clients have utilized.
